Keynote Speaker: How to make being a great Talent Acquisition Professional fun AND strategic - while gaining JOY from your job!

This session will help overwhelmed and overworked Talent Acquisition pros to engage with stakeholders more strategically and to have a more rewarding and fun career.

Come on a journey to discover how to transform a very overwhelming and high-pressure role as a Talent Acquisition professional in today’s hyper-competitive candidate marketplace, into a far more rewarding job filled with joy. During this session, you will learn how to gain control over your work by leveraging project management skills and transforming into a more consultative and strategic recruiting professional. Whether you recruit for your job or are leader of others who recruit, you will learn the clues to getting organized with stakeholders by setting and managing expectations, creating recruiting and plans and strategies in advance, and leveraging some simple tools to keep you in control and not overwhelmed so you can have more fun in this career that changes lives!

During this session, you will:

  • Learn how to organize and prioritize recruiting work so you can focus more and not feel overwhelmed.

  • Find out how to use “contracting” in day-to-day relationships and walk the line between being of service and not being “customer service”.

  • Understand how to conduct more effective hiring-manager recruiting “intake” meetings and leverage the key components of a great recruiting service-level-agreement and recruiting sourcing strategy.

  • Hear how to transform high-pressure situations into more job satisfaction, fun, and true joy from being in a profession that changes lives and builds organizations.
